WAT Fulda

The time had come again, on 11.05.19 another Catfish Conservation Day (Welsarterhaltungstag -WAT) took place in Fulda. The organisers, the regional group Fulda of the IG BSSW, were very well prepared. The approx. 65 visitors were completely satisfied with the accommodation, meeting room and catering. The fact that there will always be small changes for optimisation after the meeting is a natural process to constantly improve. Hermann Hahner and his team deserve our sincere thanks for everything!

The programme with four lectures on the topic of species conservation and the auctions in between left nothing to be desired. As last year, part of the proceeds went to the ÖVVÖ conservation projects. The amount, as in 2018, with 444€ was handed over to Erik Schiller (species conservation officer of the ÖVVÖ)! A big thank you to all participants, to the RG Fulda and their superb team in the name of the ÖVVÖ.
